18 months ago Quadrant was building 7 new houses each day.
3 months ago they were building 1. The Seattle Times
recently reported that things are turning around in the
local housing market, because
Quadrant was now building 2 houses a day. A 50%
increase in production. Logic like that just astounds
me. Although their statement was mathematically true,
how it related to the current real estate market was
preposterous. What they could have said is that with
2006 being the height of the market, and reductions in sales
for 2007 and 2008, beginning in April of 2009, sales have
started to increase once again in numbers although not in
price. The increase has been modest, but it has been
sustained since April. The state of the economy will
determine the strength of the recovery in the local housing
market. Although the public gets most of their news on a national level, real estate is a local opportunity, and markets can vary greatly based on location. This is just an overview. If you have any questions or would just like to discuss the topic further, please send me an email, text me, or give me a call, I am always happy to help. Thank you. |
